Testimonials

"What stood out to me most was how she gave personalized advice to each person without generalizing- even in a large group, everyone received her attention. She helped me understand my handstand alignment so much more clearly, and now I know exactly what to focus on moving forward. "

-Mariia Bychina, Canada

"I've attended a number of workshops throughout the DFW area and Julia's expertise, extensive knowledge and hand-on approach is unmatched. These workshops are the perfect balance of pushing you to find your personal best while ensuring you are accessing postures safely and mindfully. "

-Selena Delk, Texas

"Julia is amazing! I went to arm balance and handstand workshop with Julia, I've had a hard time divorcing the wall with handstands, but I'm happy to say that I'm now confident enough to catch some stacked time in the middle of the room. Julia's cues and teaching have transformed my practice so much in just a few hours, I wish I could practice with her more! "

-Michelle Lew, California

About Me

I’m TinyYogaMom, and my real name is Julia. I’m a full-time yoga teacher with 700+ hours of training, specializing in advanced asanas and transitions.

Your asana practice is where you meet your edge, build capacity, and learn to stay steady when things get uncomfortable. My teaching focuses on helping you develop real control, awareness, and confidence in the process- and have fun while doing it.

Progress isn’t the handstand. It’s who you become while working toward it.

Originally from Brazil and now based in Dallas/Frisco, Texas, I lead workshops, retreats, and coach students worldwide.

I show up fully for students who are committed to showing up for themselves.

Frequently asked questions

If you've been practicing for a while but feel stuck, keep hitting the same plateaus, and are tired of generic classes and random tutorials, you're in the right place.

I break things down in simple, clear terms, keep it creative and fun, and have a way of making you see your practice completely differently. Students often tell me things finally click in a way they never have before.

I work best with students who value having a teacher who gives them clear direction, personalized feedback, and real accountability. My workshops and coaching are an investment, and they're designed for people who are passionate about their practice and find real value in learning that saves them time and energy.

I'm not the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. But if you're someone who's motivated by real guidance and ready to stop guessing, I'd love to work with you.

My weekly class is a Vinyasa class, but not a traditional one. I blend it with workshop-style moments, breaking down arm balances, inversions, and backbends so students actually understand what their body needs to do, not just follow along.

If you've seen my clips and thought "I've never seen a class like this," that's intentional. I teach hands-on, with real-time personalized feedback, because I believe that's how students actually progress. What's the point of showing up if you're not learning something new or being challenged to grow?

If you're not local to Frisco, Texas, my workshops and 1:1 coaching are the best way to work with me wherever you are.

Not necessarily. Some workshops have prerequisites that will be specified in the description, but most are open to students at different levels, as long as you come with the right mindset.

That means being open to being challenged, comfortable with struggling, and willing to step outside your comfort zone without ego or comparison to others. Progress looks different for everyone, and that's the point.

My goal is to create a space where fumbling feels fun: explorative, supportive, and encouraging, where everyone is working at their own level toward their next step.

Being in that environment is also part of the learning. Watching others struggle, discover, and breakthrough is just as educational as the practice itself, and often the most inspiring part.

The best ways to work with me are through private 1:1 coaching or my workshops, those are where I'm most invested and where students see the biggest breakthroughs.

I also teach one weekly in-person class on Thursdays 11 am at Ignyte Yoga in Frisco, Texas if you're local.

Virtual workshops and online courses are coming soon too, so stay tuned if you're not nearby.

Yes, online courses, virtual workshops, and on-demand content are coming. I'm currently working on building these out and I want to ask for your patience.

Part of what makes my teaching valuable is that I take my time and invest fully in the experience I deliver. I'd rather show up with something that truly serves you than rush to publish content just to meet demand.

When it's ready, it will be worth the wait. Subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on Instagram to be the first to know.

Yes, one of my biggest dreams is to share yoga around the world. How cool is it to combine travel, meet new people, and share my passion with others?

The best way to bring me to your city is to have your favorite local studio reach out to me directly. We'll work together to find a date that works and make sure there's enough demand to make the trip feasible, since travel and accommodation costs are a real factor.

Subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on Instagram. That's where I announce everything first, including retreats, which I'm currently planning for 2027.
